Day 1

Welcome.  After writing on the Silicon Valley Moms Blog for almost a year, I've decided to venture my own personal blog. 

So who, exactly, is the boss?

I'd like to think that I am my own boss.  But the truth is, I work full-time out of the home in high-tech and I work full-time in the home as a mother.  The juggle of having two "bosses" can be a big burden to bear - and there are many days that I wonder if I'll be fired from one or both "jobs." 

The life of a working mom isn't a bed of roses.  But is it my life.  Be prepared for me to share my personal wins and pitfalls of the board room and the family room.
