And the Award goes to....

The June Perfect Post Award, hosted by the two divas: Suburban Turmoil andMommaK, goes to my new favorite blog: Bite My Cookie for her absolutely hilarious telling of going to Planned Parenthood. 

When I was a young woman, I spent many an afternoon at PP getting my free monthly supply of birth control pills.  When I was a young woman, the morning after pill did not exist.  And yet, my experience in PP was remarkably similar to BMC's experience.  Only I didn't add my own comedian commentary to their brochures.  I laughed so hard that I snorted.  And that, my friends, isn't an easy feat.

Now I fully realize that Bite My Cookie doesn't give a rats ass about awards, so I'm not going to even bother sending her the Perfect Post Award pic to post on her blog.  In BMC's honor, I've donated $150 to Planned Parenthood. See?  Awards aren't all that bad, now are they?

you are a goddess among women. thank you for the PP donation in my honor. i blog not to make you snort, but to make sure i remember that i truly am the world's biggest dumbnuts. self-deprecation keeps one humble.

but you're right. i don't give a rat's ass about awards. i sweep them every time in my own mind. no competition.

on the other hand, you simply paying me the compliment of your time and eyeballs, and the unknown challenge i now have of making you snort (like liquid out your nose, or just dry?), and of course the PP donation and the props here. this is award enough for me.
