Is anyone else drowning in their summertime shuffle?
There's swim practice in the mornings and camps in the afternoon.
There's housesitting for your dad who is having the time of his life in Paris while you are totally stressed out that you are going to kill his precious hydrangeas.
There's meetings and back to back conference calls and countless reporting analysis that leaves barely enough time to make lunch.
Remember when the summer meant countless hours riding your bike, swimming at the pool, and eating popsicles? How can I get back to that? Because to me, summer has become just another wrench in my schedule.
So if I'm not here, it's not because I don't want to write. It's just that I'm too busy getting slammed with other stuff.
