Advertising
Who's the Boss? does not accept any forms of advertising.
Sponsored Posts
If you would like to guarantee that Robyn talks about your product or service, you may sponsor a post. Sponsored posts will be clearly marked as such. For a request for a sponsored post to be accepted, the subject has to be one of interest to Robyn and appropriate for Who's the Boss?
Robyn will not, under any circumstances, publish someone else’s opinion masked as her own. If Robyn does not feel that she can write truthfully about a product in a way that will be worthwhile for the sponsor, she will make this clear before anything is written or payment is made.
Sponsored tweets follow the same general guidelines as with regard to interest, appropriateness, and honesty. They would be marked with “(sp)” and could be scheduled as you like. With roughly 1,000 organic twitter followers this is an easy and affordable option that will reach a large number of people.
Please contact whosthebossblog@gmail.com for rates.
Sponsorships
Who's the Boss? is actively seeking sponsorships for conferences and events. These can be tailored to the sponsor's needs and can include campaigns at the events, sponsored posts and tweets.
Please contact whosthebossblog@gmail.com for more information.
Product Reviews and Giveaways
Who's the Boss? does allow for product reviews and giveaways. As Robyn does not allow for third party advertising, your reviews and giveaways will appear front and center on the main blog. There is no side review blog for Who's the Boss?
Please see my Request a Product Review or Giveaway page for more information.
Parties and Events
Robyn loves to attend events and retreats showcasing products and services, as her interests and schedule will allow. Please send invitations to whosthebossblog@gmail.com
Robyn lives in the South Bay of the San Francisco Bay Area. Please note that for events in San Francisco, Robyn may request transportation to and from the event, free parking, and expenses for childcare. From where I live it takes over an hour to get to the city - add to it a half a tank of gas and ridiculous parking charges... it has to be worth my while to invest that amount of time and money to just get there.
For out-of-town events, commonly-covered travel expenses are required. While Robyn is happy to be "paid" in unique experiences on these trips, she is not able to incur any significant out-of-pocket costs in order to attend.
In Closing
Please understand that while you may think that your request is simple and easy and not a big deal, yours is not the only request that Robyn will get that day, or even that hour. Robyn restricts her writing to subjects that interest her or would be a good fit with her audience, even with paid opportunities. It is not necessarily a reflection on your product.
